Seminars and Workshops

Continuing education seminars and workshops presented by the Indiana University School of Optometry offer a wide range of educational opportunities for optometrists. These events are designed to help practitioners fulfill their educational requirements for license renewal, and all event courses are submitted for COPE approval.

Course Information

Fees

All courses are submitted for COPE approval.  Courses are offered on a full-day basis; no adjustments will be made for partial days.   The daily fee for eight hours of continuing education is $240. No partial course registrations will be accepted and no partial refunds or carryover of fees to another day will be given.

Refund Policy for CE

A full refund - less a $15.00 administrative charge - will be issued if a cancellation request is received 24 hours prior to the date of the program. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and either emailed to iuconfs@indiana.edu or faxed to (812) 855-8077.

Continuing Education with Examination

Continuing Education with Examination (formerly TQ) Credit will be available on selected courses. CEE courses are marked in the brochure and/or on our website. If you want CEE credit, please make this known when registering. CEE examinations will be mailed to the practitioner requesting them and are to be mailed back to the school for grading. The cost is $50 for each two-credit-hour test.

Location

All courses will be held at the Indiana University School of Optometry unless otherwise noted.

Parking

Parking is available in the Atwater garage (located at the northeast corner across the street from the Indiana University School of Optometry) or in the parking lot directly across Atwater Avenue from the school. Parking is free on weekends.

For courses held on weekdays, please pick up a parking pass at registration.  You must pick up your parking pass before entering the Atwater garage.
