Biography
Grace Brasel, O.D. joined Indiana University School of Optometry in July 2022 as a clinical assistant professor working in the pediatric/binocular vision and primary care services at the Atwater Eye Care Center and Indianapolis Eye Care Center.
Dr. Brasel completed her undergraduate studies at Augustana College and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2021. She then completed her residency in pediatric optometry with an area of emphasis in vision therapy and rehabilitation and brain injury in 2022 at The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Her special interests include strabismic and non-strabismic binocular vision disorders, vision therapy, amblyopia, aniseikonia, and working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association and College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
