Alumni Weekend

The IU School of Optometry Alumni Weekend and Class Reunion events, will take place Sept. 6–8, 2024, on the IU Bloomington campus. Registration is required to attend the IUSO Alumni Weekend events. Click here to register.

The alumni weekend is for all IUSO alumni and will feature class reunion dinner, continuing education opportunities, a tailgate party, and a golf outing.

Class Reunions

If you graduated in a year that ends in 4 or 9, then we are looking forward to celebrating this milestone with you. Do you want to get together with your classmates for dinner on Saturday, Sept. 7? Let us know at goiuso@iu.edu.

For activities at the School

Accessible parking is available behind the School. There is only one handicapped designated spot, and you will need to sign in at the front desk. For Saturday CE, park in the Atwater Parking Garage, which is free on the weekends.

- Enjoy food, drinks, and mingling under a large tent with all your fellow IUSO alumni three hours before the IU v. Western Illinois football game. Alumni celebrating a class reunion will receive a reunion gift.

  Are you wanting to attend the football game? We have a promo code for you to buy tickets and sit with your fellow IUSO alumni.

Please follow these steps to purchase tickets to the IU v. Western Illinois football game on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024.

1. Click here for the IU Athletics ticket portal.
2. Type OPT24 in the "Enter Promotional Code" box and hit Go.
3. Click the red Find Tickets button.
4. Click the red area on the seating chart for the IUSO seat block.
5. Select your seat(s) from the available (green) seats.
6. After you select your seat(s), you will be given the option to also buy parking.
7. Follow the instructions regarding check out and payment.*

*Please note, IU Athletics charges a $10 fee per order.
