Continuing education online courses and seminars are designed to help practicing optometrists fulfill their educational requirements for license renewal. Courses are also available for opticians and optometric technicians.
You do not have to be an alumnus of the IU School of Optometry to take advantage of our continuing education opportunities. We look forward to offering you the education to enhance and continue your profession.

On Saturday, Nov. 23, there will be a free, 2-hour continuing education opportunity prior to the IU football game against the Buckeyes at The Ohio State University. Registration is required for this free event.

Indiana licensed optometrists should follow the Indiana Optometry Board continuing education requirements.
If you are licensed in Illinois, follow the Illinois Board of Optometry continuing education guidelines.
The Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry lists CE requirements for all state regulatory boards in the United States. If you are licensed outside of Indiana or Illinois, check with your state board to determine the number and type of continuing education credits required for licensure.
