Update (1/6/2021): I'm now mining on a 3950x. It's enough to keep my room warm through the winter. I got the itch again and might be working on a new project soon. I'm also mulling making regular video. Still yet to be determined. Most likely on another website. I'll update here though.
The heat produced by mining crypto was to much. I decided to submerge my 6 - R9 280x in mineral oil to send the majority of heat outside through a pump and to a radiator. The automotive radiator was used for it's size.
There is typically 6 cards in this setup. One of them is out for maintenance. The oil level is a bit low. I'm ordering two more gallons of mineral oil fluid.
I will be making update videos as the mining rig progresses.

Electricity cost during the summer were more than double. Increase in power consumption from warmer weather and higher cost of electricity during summer months.
The hardware has lived its life out in the world of crypto. Time for a new purpose. I'm selling off the mineral oil pc parts. I'm keeping the pumps and radiator for another project.
